How this works

Plain answers about what's private here, and what isn't.

Can anyone who runs this app read my posts or responses?

Posts are meant to be read — anyone signed in can see them in the feed, just never with your name or email attached.

Responses are different. A response is visible only to the person who wrote it and the post's author. That's enforced by database-level access rules (Postgres Row Level Security), not just something the app's interface hides — a request straight to the database, bypassing the app entirely, is rejected unless you're one of those two people. The one honest exception: someone with direct administrative access to the underlying database could still technically see it, the same way that's true of any hosted service. No other user, and no other part of the app, can.

What actually happens when I report something?

Your report — the reason you picked, plus any details you add — is stored and tied to the post or response you reported. Right now reports are reviewed manually; there's no automated system that hides or removes content on its own.

Only you can see the reports you've submitted.

What happens to a post or response when I delete it?

You can delete a post you wrote. It disappears from the feed immediately, and its page becomes inaccessible — visiting the old link behaves as if it never existed.

Responses can't currently be deleted by the person who wrote them. Deleting a post marks it deleted rather than instantly erasing the row from the database, but practically, it's gone from the app the moment you delete it — nothing about it is ever shown to anyone again.

Is my email ever shown to anyone?

No. Your email is used only to sign you in (a magic link, no password) and, if you choose, to notify you when someone responds to one of your posts. It's never displayed to other users, and never shown anywhere in the app's interface.
